All manuscripts will undergo peer review, in order that we publish only the highest quality research. Cartilage will be published quarterly, beginning with the January 2010 inaugural issue. Processing of manuscript submissions is fully electronic and managed through an established and “user friendly” Web-based site, Scholar One. We are committed to a rapid review process. Detailed instructions to authors and directions for submissions are available through the journal’s Web site (http://cart.sagepub.com; select Manuscript Submission from the left side) as well as the ICRS site (http://www.cartilage.org). As Editor-in-Chief, I bring over 30 years experience as an editor with a devotion to quality, timeliness, and efficiency. My years in cartilage research and the clinical aspects of cartilage-related disease provide me a background of knowledge relevant to the objectives of the journal. I intend to be accessible by phone (+1-661-268-7657), FAX (+1-661-2687658), or e-mail ([email protected]).
